Happy New Year! Every year Pantone announces its pick for the color of the year and this year they have named “Living Coral” the new it color of 2019. Living Coral is a bright coral with a golden undertone. We can easily picture this hue in seaside homes, paired with neutrals for a energetic dose of color. Check out this bright and happy bathroom which uses living coral as the vanity color. The pink walls support the vanity and complete the story.
Houzz also recently featured a list of top color trends from the major paint companies for 2019. These color trends are more subdued than “Living Coral” and range from warm to cool and could be used in a variety of interior applications.
Metropolitan from Benjamin Moore and Pineapple Cream Granita from Clark & Kensington are two neutrals that would be calming and sophisticated choices for the kitchen and bath. We work with cabinet companies who can custom paint your cabinets to make them truly your own.
Kitchen cabinets in bold blue and blue/green tones continue to be a popular choice for homeowners looking for something unique in their homes. Peacock Blue and Nightwatch are two colors we love on kitchen cabinets.
We designed one of the display kitchens in our Burlington, MA Kohler Signature Store using a peacock blue custom color on Mouser cabinetry. We paired this blue with a cream-colored quartz countertop and warm neutral accent cabinets for a balanced and visually stimulating space.
