Sprucing Up Your Kitchen for the Holidays

This time of year, holiday decorations are popping up everywhere. While stringing lights, hanging wreaths and setting up your Christmas tree are familiar and easy tasks, bringing some of that festive fun into the kitchen can prove to be a little more difficult.  The kitchen is such a busy place in the home that requires open work surfaces and places for people cook, clean and entertain.

The following are some examples of how we styled our kitchens in The Kohler Signature Store located at 7 Tide Street in Boston.

Open Glass Shelves with Holiday Decor

Fill clear glass containers and champagne flutes with decorative christmas balls and place them among your everyday accessories.

Filled Glass Containers

Use an evergreen centerpiece on your island. This can be easily moved and stored away if additional workspace is required.

Evergreen Centerpiece

Change out placemats & napkins for seasonal colors. Add red berries to your everyday greenery for a quick holiday makeover.

Seasonal Kitchen Island

Good luck and have fun! Remember, the goal is to bring just a little of the season’s cheer to the center of your home.
